Fees

The attorneys and agents at LaMorte & Associates P.C. bill by the hour unless a services is otherwise offered as a flat fee.

 

Currently, the hourly fees are as follows:

 

$305/hr – Registered Patent Attorney

$190/hr – Registered Patent Agent

$ 90/hr – Paralegal/secretary

$75/sheet – Patent draftsman

Preparation of Utility Patent Application and Illustrations

Costs are an approximation based upon an average client’s needs.

 

Attorney Time  15hrs  --  $4575.00

Patent Agent Time   1hr  --  $ 190.00

Draftsman – 4 illustrations -- $ 300.00

TOTAL:   $ 5065.00

Patent Office filing fee is $400/$800 depending upon applicant’s status.

 

 

Preparation of Design Patent and Illustrations

Costs are an approximation based upon an average client’s needs.

 

Attorney Time    <2hrs  --  $ 595.00

Patent Agent Time 2.0 hrs  --  $ 380.00

Draftsman – 7 illustrations -- $ 525.00

TOTAL:   $ 1500.00

 

Patent Office filing fee is $190/$380 depending upon applicant’s status.

 

 

Preparation of Provisional Patent Application

Costs are an approximation based upon an average client’s needs.

 

Attorney/Agent Time    3hrs  --  $ 1000.00

Patent Office filing fee is $65/$130 depending upon applicant’s status.

 

Preparation of Trademark Application
